UW/UX is a student organization at the University of Waterloo dedicated to fostering a friendly and inclusive design culture at Waterloo through our 3 pillars: Community, Discovery and Empowerment. The club welcomes designers of all backgrounds—UX, product, graphic, and beyond, to create a space that celebrates learning and creativity.
The first designathon I attended was hosted by UW/UX, and since then, the club and its community have been a key part of my university journey.
I joined the Design team in September 2025 and have been actively supporting the community since. Beyond crafting promotional content for the club, I've played a key role in nurturing and expanding the design culture at Waterloo.
